Our Founder and Certified Tea Sommelier, shared some of her best tips on how to beat a cold with green tea and even how you can prevent one in the first place!

Sheena explains that green tea is especially great during cold and flu season as it undergoes less oxidation thus helping to retain a lot of polyphenols and catechins, which are great immune boosters.

Studies on green tea and the adenovirus have shown something pretty remarkable: when green tea was injected into the virus, it stopped the virus from replicating, demonstrating the powerful benefits of green tea.

Matcha Made In Heaven

A hard-hitter is our ceremonial grade Japanese Matcha loaded with antioxidants. When you drink matcha, you’re consuming the entire leaf instead of just the brewed water, so that you’re actually receiving up to 10 times the amount of nutritional and antioxidant content as a cup of green tea.

Because it’s easy to use, you can easily throw it in your bag and go. It’s also versatile, and you can use it in your smoothies, lattes and even your baking!
